Las Indias Occidentales han designado a Darren Sammy como su nuevo entrenador de pruebas. Sammy ahora se hará cargo del equipo en los tres formatos.
West Indies legend and white-ball coach, Daren Sammy has been given additional responsibility as he becomes the all-format coach of the West Indies cricket team now. The team announced his appointment as the Test team coach of the Caribbean side on Monday. Sammy has now replaced Andre Coley, who is currently coaching the team in Tests. The two-time T20 World Cup champion will be taking the reign from 1st April 2025.
New role, new direction
Daren Sammy seems happy with the new role.“it’s an honour to represent the West Indies in any capacity and with the new role he has mapped out the new direction”. he said.
