A young cricketer, Imran Sikandar Patel, died of a heart attack while playing a match in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar district of Maharashtra. Patel was the captain of the Lucky Builders And Developers team and was playing against Young XI at the Garware Cricket Stadium.

During the match, Patel hit two impressive fours in the sixth over. However, soon after, he complained of neck and hand pain to the umpires. He was advised to take care of his health and go to the hospital immediately. Tragically, Patel collapsed near the boundary as soon as he left the field. His fellow players rushed to his aid and took him to the hospital, where he was declared dead.
Patel’s sudden death has sent shockwaves through the cricket community. He was a promising young cricketer from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar city, and his tragic demise is a matter of huge sorrow. Talking about Hughes, he was talented left-handed batter. He was just 25 years old when he passed away after being struck by a bouncer during a domestic Sheffield Shield match on November 25, 2014. Playing for South Australia against New South Wales at the Sydney Cricket Ground, Hughes was on 63 runs when a short-pitched delivery from Sean Abbott hit him on the neck.
