Recently, the Bengaluru franchise, launched a Hindi account on X. This move has not been well-received by pro-Kannada activists. The account, which started in October 2024 with the handle @RCBinHindi, has gained more than 2,500 followers but is currently facing criticism.
The reaction to this new RCB account has been mixed. Many users did not take it well, with some believing it shows disrespect towards Kannada culture. Pro-Kannada individuals have voiced their concerns, with some suggesting that RCB should relocate to the North, while others are demanding the immediate removal of the account. And also questioning the need for a Hindi account for RCB, a team not based in a Hindi-speaking state.
