I’ll guarantee you this: you haven’t seen a bigger no-ball than this in your life. Hazrat Bilal, a Pakistan-born UAE cricketer, just outdid whatever Mohammed Amir did at Lord’s in 2010. Now, no one’s accusing him of match fixing, but Bilal’s no-ball is much worse than what even Amir’s looked like.

No-ball: Mistake or match fixing by Hazrat Bilal?

Playing for Samp Army in the Abu Dhabi T10 League, Bilal bowled a gigantic no-ball against the New York Strikers. His left foot seemed to be at least two feet outside the crease. Even the commentator couldn’t believe it. “Hold on a minute. I’m not sure how you can get a delivery that wrong,” the commentator can be heard saying.

David Warner smells something fishy

It wasn’t just the commentators. Players in the dugout were seen laughing at the ‘mistake’. Now, Bilal isn’t a rookie. The pacer is a veteran at 36 years old. Had he been 18, you would have understood, but he’s spent half of his life playing professional cricket now. It definitely smells fishy, not just to us but even to David Warner.

The Aussie, who’s currently commentating on the India vs Australia 1st Test, took to his social media and shared a still of Bilal’s no-ball. Warner mockingly wrote, “Was this a free hit?” while tagging the Abu Dhabi T10 league.

In the past couple of years, T10 and even T5 leagues have started popping up. We recently had a league in the Cayman Islands; yes, you heard it right. The place is a tax haven and known for people having offshore banking accounts. There couldn’t possibly be any nefarious activity going around there. And oh, it wasn’t really televised or streamed much; I wonder why?
