La regla se aplica a los jugadores que pueden obtener 20 rupias lakh como oferta mínima hasta la última subasta.
It turns out, it wasn’t just the purchasing purse that was increased when the BCCI announced the rules for the IPL 2025 mega auction. The minimum bidding price for players will see a 50% increase in proportion to the team purse being increased by 20% (Rs 100 to 120 crore).
50% increase in minimum player bidding price
At the coming auction, the minimum base price for a player would be at least Rs 30 lakh. Until the last auction, the minimum a team could make was Rs 20 lakh; now that’s been increased by Rs 10 lakh.
This rule change might have been conveyed to the IPL teams, but it’s the first time the general public has heard about the change. According to CricXtasy, the rule will be in effect next month. This would help the uncapped players. Back in 2014, the cricketers who’d yet to play for India received a starting bid of Rs 10 lakh; 10 years later, it’s increased by a whopping 200%.
