Pakistán ICC Desde que la Liga de Campeones de la ICC comenzó seis días después, ICC fue liberado de la Liga de Campeones.
Shoaib Akhtar has openly challenged the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) that if he’s given entire control of domestic cricket, he’ll fix all the issues the Pakistan cricket team is currently facing. The remark comes after the Men in Green were knocked out of the ICC Champions Trophy, just six days after the tournament kicked off in Karachi.
Nothing seems to be working for Pakistan. Three balls into the tournament, they lost both of their main openers (Saim Ayub and Fakhar Zaman). They forced Babar Azam to open and failed in both games. Although he did score fifty, it was a match-losing knock.
Mohammad Rizwan hasn’t been good, with the bat or as captain. His slow-paced knock against India got him flak. His claim that Pakistan had equalled good spinners when compared with India, was infuriating for many. Then comes the fact that their pacers were extremely woeful. But Shoaib is certain he can help alleviate Pakistan of these problems.
“Give me the domestic structure for three years; I’ll get it fixed. I’ll sacrifice my time with my kids and give it to Pakistan’s youth for three years,” Shoaib Akhtar said on PTV Sports.
