In the T20 World Cup 2024 and ODI World Cup 2023, they failed to progress beyond the group stage, similar to their ODI World Cup 2019 and T20 World Cup 2016 campaigns. Their best recent finish came in the T20 World Cup 2022, where they ended as runners-up, while they reached the semi-finals in the T20 World Cup 2021.

In the World Test Championship 2021-23, they finished in seventh place. In the ODI World Cup 2015, they were quarter-finalists.
