India vs Pakistán: Virat Kohli respaldó y anotó 50 goles en la Copa de Campeones de 62 Pakistán.
On Sunday, during the all-important India vs Pakistan match, Virat Kohli scored his 74th ODI fifty to put his team in a good position to win. After coming in early after Rohit Sharma’s dismissal, the 36-year-old put his best foot forward, to achieve the milestone. With four fours he reached his fifty in 62 deliveries only.
Virat Kohli Slams 74th Fifty
Virat Kohli, with this innings of his, bounced back to form, and showed once again, how much he loves batting against the Pakistanis. Now in 17 matches vs the opposition, he has scored 725 runs at an average of over 55 with three hundreds and as many fifties. Surprisingly, his runs came at a decent pace of 99, showing his class and authority against Pakistan.
Kohli Loves Batting Against Pakistan
At the start of his innings, Virat Kohli achieved a rare feat, where he became only the third batter in the world, to score 14,000 ODI runs. He was way faster to the milestone — 287 innings, as compared to Kumar Sangakkara in 378 innings, and Sachin Tendulkar in 350 innings.
Interestingly, Virat is the fastest to 8,000, 9,000, 10,000, 11,000, 12,000, 13,000 and now 14,000 runs as well. He is also under 200 runs away from Sangakkara, to become the second-highest run-scorer in ODIs.
