Rishabh Pant was ranked at number six in the Test ranking prior to the start of the BGT series. But now, he is out of the top 10 altogether. This attributes to his dwindling batting form. Despite all his antics and unconventional pyrotechniques at the crease, Pant has largely failed to muster huge runs. Although there hasn’t been any compromise on his style of batting, Pat Cummins and company have found it easy to wrap Pant’s innings up quickly. Although he has breached the 20-run mark three times in 5 innings, Pant just hasn’t got going for a longer period of time.
