The England cricket team has already announced the squad for the ICC Champions Trophy, which kicks off on February 19, 2025. The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has named a 15-man squad sans their Test captain Ben Stokes. Joe Root, who last played an ODI match in November 2023, returns as young guns Jacob Bethell and Jamie Smith have also been selected. The same squad will also feature against India in early February.
