Muhammad Marijah quiere brillar sobre Gujarat Titasse en 2025, con la confianza de que aumenta el estadio Ahmedabad Bowoning.
One of India’s ace pacers, Mohammed Siraj, is ready to play with his new team, the Gujarat Titans, as they face the Punjab Kings in the IPL 2025 season opener today. Both teams are starting their campaigns with this match. It will be an important season for Mohammed Siraj as he is ready for the challenge. We might see “Siraj 2.0” in the IPL 2025. He believes that playing in Ahmedabad will give him more opportunities than in Chinnaswamy stadium in Bangalore to execute his plans.
Siraj on playing in Ahmedabad
Mohammed Siraj is very excited to play with the Gujarat Titans in Ahmedabad. He noted that Bengaluru is a small ground where bowlers often get thrashed. Despite this, while bowling for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at their home ground, Siraj has been the third-highest wicket-taker for the team, although his economy rate was high.
Now in Ahmedabad, he seems pretty confident. Speaking to RevSports, Siraj said, “When you bowl, even one meter of the boundary matters. If the ground is bigger, the ball that might have been a six could be caught at the boundary. In Bengaluru, you can hit a six easily, but it’s a different case in Ahmedabad. There are more chances to get wickets. You can do variations in bowling, like short balls, and make batters get caught at the boundary line. A bigger ground is pretty important.”
Siraj joined GT for 12.5 Crore
Siraj started his career with Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2018 and later played for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), achieving considerable success. However, before the IPL 2025 auction, RCB released Siraj, and the Gujarat Titans secured him for 12.5 crore. This is the first time he will be playing for the Gujarat Titans this season.
