Overall, he hit five fours and as many sixes to end the match with three balls and a wicket to spare. In short, he just picked up from where he left last year. In the 2024 season, in 11 matches he had scored 189 runs at a strike-rate of 167.

COming to Rishabh Pant and LSG, it is not like the team did not have their chances; but some bad decisions by the skipper came to haunt them at the latter half of the second innings. He went on to score an invaluable 39 from 15 deliveries only, setting the tone for the 210-run chase.
