Muhammad Kaif, si el dinero adecuado ha utilizado los fondos correctos de la CPI después de cubrir parcialmente lirios en el PCB AUS vs SA SA

Australia y Sudáfrica tienen ambos lados de la etapa grupal

The much-anticipated Australia vs South Africa clash in the ICC Champions Trophy didn’t take place. The rain at Rawalpindi continued as the game was abandoned without the toss taking place. Now former Indian cricketer Mohammad Kaif has questioned the PCB whether they had properly used ICC’s funding in the development of the grounds.

The rain wasn’t continuous at Rawalpindi but it was heavy. Mohammad Kaif was extremely frustrated after seeing that despite heavy rain the entire ground wasn’t covered. Instead, only the pitch and the surrounding areas were covered. This prompted Kaif to take to social media to post whether the ICC’s funds were used appropriately or not.

“It’s a shame that the Rawalpindi ground isn’t fully covered. Such an important match – South Africa vs Australia – might go down the drain because no one addressed this issue. Was the ICC money utilised wisely by hosts?” Kaif posted on X.

Kaif further went on to post an image where it was shown that only a small portion of the ground was covered despite heavy rain. Kaif was frustrated claiming such an important game was being wasted since no one decided to cover the entire ground.

As things stand, both the Men in Yellow and the Proteas were awarded a point each from the game. Both the teams now have 3 points apiece but it is the South African side that tops the Group B Points Table with a better NRR.
