Hardware Pandya aceptado para AGN 3rd T0i para reducir la velocidad
Former Indian wicketkeeper Parthiv Patel slammed Hardik Pandya for wasting deliveries in IND vs ENG 3rd T20I in Rajkot. The all-rounder drew flak over his slow-paced 40-run knock off 35 deliveries in India’s run-chase. England beat Suryakumar Yadav and co by 26 runs to hand the hosts an upset and register their first win of the series.
Dot ball king Hardik Pandya gets flayed
Speaking on the post-match show on Star Sports, Patel pointed out that a batter couldn’t take 20-25 deliveries to get set in a T20I. He pointed out that while Hardik finished with 40 runs off 35 balls, he took a lot of dot balls at the start of his innings.
“Can’t take 20-25 balls to get set. I understand taking your time but you have to keep rotating the strike. Hardik may have ended up with 40 off 35, but there were a lot of dot balls at the start of his innings,” Patel said.

Following a poor show from India’s top-order once again, the pressure was on Pandya in the run-chase. Between the 9th and 16th over, India only managed to score 40 runs, with Pandya and Sundar struggling to get going. Further, the all-rounder drew the ire of fans for not giving a chance to Jurel to finish the match while taking it upon himself to get India across the line. He eventually was dismissed on the first delivery of the 19th over, bringing the curtains down on India’s run-chase.
Further, Suryakumar’s decision to send Dhruv Jurel to bat at number 8 drew criticism from experts.
“India didn’t get the batting order right. Dhruv Jurel is an accomplished batter. Having him lower down the order for the left and right combination was not right. I’m a firm believer in your best batters batting up front,” Kevin Pietersen said.
