Garena the publisher of popular battle royale Free Fire, announced the Free Fire Esports 2025 roadmap earlier today. The roadmap features a new Champion Rush format and top-tier regional leagues in Brazil, LATAM, Southeast Asia, the Middle East & Africa, and Pakistan. Pre-season leagues will happen from February to March where almost every league will start around April 2025. The Two Free Fire World Series aka FFWS SEA 2025 offline tournaments are coming up: Hanoi, Vietnam, for the Spring Season and Bangkok, Thailand, for the fall season. A total of 12 teams will battle to achieve a pre-determined Champion Rush Point. The first team to secure a Booyah after getting the Rush Point will be crowned the champion. If no champion is determined by the eight-game, the team ranked first on the leaderboard at that point will be declared the overall champion.

Free Fire Esports World Cup 2025 is set to take place from June to August 2025 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This will be the second time Free Fire is part of the Esports World Cup. Team Falcons won the last edition, securing a $300,000 prize pool, while EVOS Divine secured second place, bagging $175,00 prize money.
