During his innings, Jos Buttler surpassed the milestone of 600 T20I runs against India, becoming the leading run-scorer against them in this format. His total now stands at 611 runs, surpassing West Indies’ Nicholas Pooran, who has 592 runs but achieved it in four more matches than Buttler.
The exclusive group of players with over 500 T20I runs against India also includes Glenn Maxwell (574), David Miller (524), and Aaron Finch (500).
