MOONTON Games, editor de MLBB, anuncia el regreso de Mobile Legends Bang Bang en Estados Unidos. El editor ofrece una compensación.

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is back in the United States after a brief 48-hour ban. On January 19, 2025, the United States government banned several apps, including TikTok, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, and Marvel Snap, citing security concerns due to their ties with ByteDance, a Chinese company. While TikTok was quickly unbanned, Mobile Legends and Marvel Snap faced a temporary suspension.

Mobile Legends Bang is now unbanned

However, on January 21, 2025, Moonton, the developer of Mobile Legends, announced the game’s return in the United States. Players were simply required to open the app as usual to resume playing. Moonton also sent out email notifications with activity rewards and a small gift to compensate for the brief interruption.

The ban on Mobile Legends followed a similar ban in India in 2020, also due to national security concerns. Despite this setback, Mobile Legends has maintained a massive global user base, with its publisher, Moonton, acquired by ByteDance in 2021.

The game’s unbanning is a positive development for the US-based Mobile Legends esports scene. Moonton has already unveiled the 2025 esports season roadmap, including the Mid Season Cup in Riyadh and the M7 World Championship in Indonesia.
