Best of CES 2025: 20 Things You'll Want to Buy This Year

We’ve explored the cutting-edge technology unveiled at CES 2025 in Las Vegas. After scouring through the announcements, Newsweek chose 20 standout products that should have your attention in 2025.

This year’s show saw plenty of exciting announcements but some products, like NVIDIA’s new RTX 50 series and Roborock’s sleek Saros Z70, stood out from the pack.

Keep in mind that some of these products are available to buy right now, while others are set to launch in the coming months.

The 20 products we’ve selected for our Best of CES awards include impressive headphones, gorgeous televisions, an innovative gaming handheld, two exciting laptops from Dell and a whole lot more.

LG UltraGear OLED Bendable Gaming Monitor

LG

LG’s new lineup of gaming monitors includes the UltraGear OLED Bendable Gaming Monitor, also known as the 45GX990A. The company says it’s the “world’s first 5K2K-resolution bendable OLED display”.

The 45-inch monitor has a 5120×2160 resolution and a 21:9 aspect ratio, making it a truly massive canvas for gaming.

One of the monitor’s main selling points is that can smoothly transition from completely flat to a 900R curvature in just seconds, giving users a ton of control over the experience.

An upgraded Dual-Mode feature gives users a lot of flexibility as it lets users switch between resolution and refresh rate presets as well as customize aspect ratio and picture size.

It’s also certified for Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro.

We don’t have any pricing or a release date yet, but we expect LG to announce those later this year.

Samsung S95F OLED TV

Samsung

We always see a mind-boggling number of televisions debut at CES and this year was no different.

Samsung announced three new OLED offerings and the S95F is the company’s latest flagship.

The new model not only promises to be brighter than its predecessor but it also comes with the company’s ‘Glare Free’ technology. As the name suggests, it will negate glare in most environments.

The S95F comes in four formats. There are the standard 55-inch, 65-inch and 77-inch screen sizes, but there’s also a massive 83-inch model for those who want or need it.

We don’t have a release date or pricing yet, but look for these new OLED’s to cost a pretty penny.

Samsung The Frame Pro

Samsung

Samsung’s original The Frame is extremely popular so it should come as no surprise to learn the company’s announced a new model with enhanced features.

Like its predecessor, the Frame Pro is part of Samsung’s art TV family of devices that blend art and entertainment. The appeal is that the device can seamlessly blend in with home decor.

The latest model features advanced Neo QLED picture quality which helps it deliver brighter colors, sharper contrasts and deeper blacks.

So not only will users experience great-looking art, they’ll get awesome-looking shows and movies as well.

Samsung says The Frame Pro will ship in the spring which means a release date and pricing are on the horizon.

Samsung Odyssey OLED G6

Samsung

In addition to its TVs, Samsung also announced new gaming monitors and it’s the Odyssey G6 that we have a close eye on.

Samsung says the Odyssey G6 is the “first-ever OLED screen with a 500Hz refresh rate on its QHD (2,560×1,440) screen.”

This makes it appealing to gamers who want ultra-fast speeds and extremely smooth gameplay. And who doesn’t?

It features an OLED Glare Free screen, which is perfect for those who receive a lot of natural light where they game. It also, like LG’s monitor, is certified for Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro.

We don’t have pricing or a release date for it just yet. Look for these details to drop later this year.

Nvidia RTX 50 Series GPU’s

NVIDIA

NVIDIA and CEO Jensen Huang took over a Las Vegas arena and made a slew of announcements. Among them are the new GeForce RTX 50 Series desktop and laptop GPUs.

The new graphics cards are powered by the company’s next-generation artificial intelligence chip, Blackwell. The company says this will take rendering in games to the next level.

In total, there are four new GPUs: a new $1,999 RTX 5090, a $999 RTX 5080, a $749 RTX 5070 Ti and a $549 RTX 5070. So there are price points for all budgets.

The RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 GPUs arrive on January 30th while the RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5070 land in February.

Belkin SoundForm Anywhere Earbuds

Belkin

We love a good pair of earbuds and we especially love a good pair of earbuds we can use when lying down. Belkin’s new SoundForm Anywhere buds are set to deliver the best of both worlds.

The company’s latest earbuds are designed with all-day comfort in mind which means they’ll work at the gym or in bed listening to music or an audiobook.

These semi-open-ear earbuds feature a flat and subtle design that Belkin says is crafted to make sure they stay firmly in place.

They offer 27 hours of total battery life (up to 7 hours on a single charge and an additional 20 hours from the case), ENC microphones to actively reduce background noise and an IPX-4 rating for sweat and splash resistance.

We don’t have pricing yet, but they will go on sale sometime in Q2.

Roborock Saros Z70

Roborock Saros Z70

Roborock

There were robots galore at CES 2025 and Roborock’s new Saros Z70 robot vacuum is perhaps the most impressive.

The company says the Saros Z70 is the first mass-produced robotic vacuum with a foldable five-axis mechanical arm. So what does said arm do exactly?

It can move objects out of the way so it can get to areas of the room that are blocked by objects. While it can’t move couches (yet), it can pick up items like shoes, tissues and dog toys.

Best of all, the robot can identify what these objects are and move them to their appropriate locations. Tissues go to the garbage, shoes go to the front entryway.

It also comes with a wealth of other bells and whistles including a slim 3.14-inch design, next-gen 3D sensing for more precise mapping and coverage and loads of suction power.

It’ll be expensive, likely around $2000, and it should start shipping in the spring.

HyperSpace Trackpad Pro

HyperSpace

Windows users looking for a premium haptic trackpad solution finally have an accessory to look forward to.

Hyper used CES 2025 to debut its new HyperSpace Trackpad Pro. It’s kind of like an Apple Magic Trackpad for Windows though there are some unique features on board.

Like Apple’s device, the Trackpad Pro supports multitouch gestures, but it also grants Windows users additional customization options via the corners of the device.

Users can set up shortcuts in the corners for basic functions like copy and paste or actions in apps like Excel and Word.

The company says there are also cloud-sharing capabilities that allow others to share and discover custom configurations.

The device arrives in the second quarter for $129.99 which puts its pricing in line with Apple’s device.

Apple users who want access should note that compatibility with macOS should arrive via a firmware update later this year.

Govee Gaming Pixel Light

Govee

Govee makes some neat products and the new Gaming Pixel Light looks like another winner, especially for those who enjoy pixel art.

In a nutshell, the Gaming Pixel Light displays still or animated pixel art. Said pixel art is accompanied by 8-bit music. But that’s not all.

Thanks to generative AI, users can create pixel art simply by using text prompts.

The device can also display the weather, show sports schedules and, for those into crypto, display Bitcoin’s price.

It’s gimmicky but the good kind of gimmicky. It will arrive sometime in late Q2 2025.

Alienware Area-51 Laptops

Alienware

Gaming laptops were also in abundance at the show but it’s Alienware’s new Area-51 laptops that got our attention. Part of it’s nostalgia.

The Area-51 line dates all the way back to 1998 so it’s exciting to see Dell bring the iconic branding back to high-end gaming laptops.

The new model comes in two sizes, 18-inches and 16-inches, and comes with all the next-gen high-performance technology one would expect from an Area-51.

This includes NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series Laptop GPU, an Intel Core Ultra CPU, new thermal architecture and a beautiful design language with light-up trackpads.

It looks like an incredible package worthy of the name. They’ll start rolling out sometime in Q1.

Lutron Caséta Smart Shade

Lutron’s announced its first smart shades under the Caséta brand.

The new Caséta Smart Shades are more affordable than the company’s other smart shade options. They start at just $399.

These smart shades have standard controls but they are also compatible with Apple HomeKit and other smart home platforms.

Users can utilize buttons or voice commands to not only control multiple shades but also set schedules for them so they open in the morning and close at night.

They are extremely quiet and perhaps best of all, the shades are easy to set up which eliminates a major pain point.

L’Oréal Cell BioPrint

L’Oréal

L’Oréal’s Cell BioPrint device should be intriguing to those invested in skin care.

The Cell BioPrint is a small tabletop device that can provide personalized skin analysis in around five minutes.

This is done using advanced proteomics which is the “study of how protein composition in the human body affects skin aging.”

The process is simple. Users put a facial tape strip on the cheek and then it place into a buffer solution. The solution is then loaded into the L’Oréal Cell BioPrint cartridge and inserted for analysis.

While the sample is processed, the Skin Connect device takes several images of the face. The user fills out a short questionnaire about skin concerns and aging.

Users then get personalized advice on how to slow down the appearance of aging, predictions about the skin’s responsiveness to ingredients like retinol, and predictions about potential cosmetic issues before they become visible.

The device is scheduled to pilot with a L’Oréal brand in Asia in 2025.

The device is the company’s new entry-level smart thermostat, it’s priced at just $129.99, and it comes with an impressive suite of features.

Among them is a full-color touchscreen and support for Alexa, Apple HomeKit and Google Assistant.

Like other smart thermostats, the Essential adjusts the temperature based on a user’s schedule.

It arrives in March.

JBL Tour One M3 Headphones

JBL

JBL used CES 2025 to announce a new pair of premium headphones that combine excellent audio with seamless connectivity.

The Tour One M3s, while excellent on their own, truly excel when paired with JBL’s optional Smart Tx audio transmitter.

It’s a small, touchscreen wireless audio transmitter that wirelessly connects to devices with a USB-C or a 3.5mm audio cable. The most prominent example is an in-flight entertainment system.

The headphones can connect to devices using Bluetooth but JBL says the transmitter improves stability and latency for a smoother overall experience.

As for sound, the Tour One M3 features JBL’s new 40mm Mica Dome drivers which the company says are “tuned to deliver deep bass, balanced mids, and crystal-clear highs.”

The headphones arrive on April 13th, 2025 in blue, black and mocha for $399.95.

Schlage Sense Pro Smart Deadbolt

Schlage

Those in the market for a new smart lock should direct their attention to Schlage’s new Sense Pro Smart Deadbolt.

It’s the company’s first smart lock without a keyway and it’s also its first lock to support the Matter smart home standard. This means it’s compatible with Apple Home, Amazon Alexa, Google Home, Home Assistant and Samsung SmartThings.

Schlage says the device introduces the latest development of Schlage Converge technology which uses “Ultra Wideband and the user’s paired and authorized personal device to intelligently calculate speed, trajectory and motion, ensuring seamless, intuitive entry that understands intent to enter and unlocks precisely as the user reaches their door.”

In addition to hands-free entry, it also offers keypad access code entry and tap-to-unlock and lock with NFC.

The Sense Pro Smart Deadbolt will launch in 2025, but it doesn’t have a date or price point just yet.

Hyperkin

Tired of the standard Xbox controller? Want something that looks more like Sony’s PS5 DualSense? Look no further than Hyperkin’s Competitor controller.

The newly redesigned version of the Competitor features a symmetrical stick layout similar to what you get with a PlayStation controller.

It also features a separated D-Pad, which a lot of people love, and two programmable back buttons. One drawback is that it’s wired-only.

If interested, it will be out in the second quarter of 2025 at an unknown price point.

The laptop’s key components include Intel’s efficient Lunar Lake CPUs, a Tandem OLED display which offers deep blacks and excellent contrast, up to 21.2 hours of battery life and a sleek and slim design.

Dell also says the 14 Pro Premium is its “quietest commercial laptop ever due to a new dual fan thermal design.”

It’s available right now on Dell’s website.

Levoit

Last, but certainly not least, we have Levoit’s Pet Odor and Hair air purifier. This gadget has the potential to be a godsend for pet owners.

Levoit says the device is set to become the first “pet-specific odor detection air purifier with behavior anticipation.”

The purifier features a motion detection system that adjusts settings based on household activity. This helps to eliminate pet odors before they spread to other parts of the home.

The airflow design and purification system features a customized 4-stage filter including an Activated Carbon Filter. The device detects key substances like isovaleric acid, ammonia and hydrogen sulfide. The fan also adjusts speed accordingly to help control smells.

The VeSync app lets users visualize odor levels and trends, track purification task countdowns, access air analysis reports and monitor remaining filter life.

The Pet Odor and Hair Air Purifier arrives in Q2 for $199 on Amazon, and $249 for the self-cleaning model, at major retailers.
