Reportedly, the IND vs AUS Test series 2024-25 became the most-watched Test series in the history of the sport. Apart from global viewership, the MCG went on to create a record during the Boxing Day Test.

The Boxing Day Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground went on to officially become the second most attended game in Test cricket. A whopping crowd of 373,691 fans was spotted at the venue over the period of 5 days. While doubts were raised about whether Test cricket is dying or not? The crowd response and global viewership is a definitive response that fans still love to watch the longest format of the game.

As per reports by the Sydney Morning Herald, the IND vs AUS Test series of 2024-25 became the most-watched Test series in the history of the game. Not just Indian and Australian fans, the fans of other countries were also glued to their TV sets as the two top sides faced each other in an epic 5-match series clash.
