Quinta prueba IND vs AUS: ¿Por qué Australia con camiseta de rayas rosas el día 3?

El día 3 de la prueba SCG ya comenzó, pero ¿sabes por qué India y Australia visten camisetas de rayas rosas?

Day 3 of the SCG Test between India and Australia began with India getting bowled out for 161, leaving Australia a target of 162 to chase. This has set up an interesting finish, as no one expected India to collapse so quickly this morning. However, there is still hope for the visitors, given their impressive bowling performance in the first innings, where they bundled out the Australian side for just 181. Now, it’s time for a final push. But do you know why both teams are wearing pink-striped jerseys on Day 3 of the SCG Test?

Why is Australia wearing a Pink-striped jersey on Day 3?

Day 3 of a Test match at the Sydney Cricket Ground, popularly known as Pink Day, sees both players and spectators dressed in pink. This day is officially recognised as Jane McGrath Day, dedicated to the memory of Jane McGrath, the late wife of legendary Australian pacer Glenn McGrath, who lost her battle with breast cancer.

Both teams are now wearing pink jersey numbers and logos on their shirts to raise awareness about breast cancer. This initiative is a result of a collaboration between the McGrath Foundation and Cricket Australia.
