He could face up to 24 years in prison if convicted.His trial has been scheduled for January 2025.Darius RuckerCountry singer Darius Rucker was arrested in February 2024 in Tennessee and charged with simple possession, casual exchange and violation of registration law.He was taken into custody and released on a $10,500 bond.Travis ScottAmerican rapper Travis Scott was arrested on Aug. 9, 2024, after getting into a fight with his bodyguard.Police were called to the George V luxury hotel to break up the fight. Scott was subsequently arrested for “violence against another person,” according to a police spokesman.Scott was released from police custody in Paris the following day without charges. But the new indictment was sealed until his arraignment.NBA YoungBoyA Louisiana-based rap artist pleaded guilty on Nov. 18, 2024, to his role in a large-scale prescription drug fraud ring that operated out of his multimillion-dollar home in Utah.Rapper NBA YoungBoy, whose real name is Kentrell Gaulden, was originally charged with 46 charges related to the alleged crime. He pleaded guilty to two counts of third-degree felony identity fraud, two counts of third-degree felony forgery, and six counts of misdemeanor unlawful pharmacy conduct. Gaulden entered a “no contest” plea to the remaining charges.As part of a plea deal, Gaulden will not serve prison time in Utah. Instead, his four felony charges were reduced to Class A Misdemeanors and he was ordered to pay a $25,000 fine.
