Después de Virat Kohli, los medios australianos ahora se han metido con Ravindra Jadeja, acusándolo de no responder preguntas en inglés antes de la prueba del Boxing Day de IND vs AUS.
The Australian media continues to target Indian players amid the ongoing IND vs AUS Test series, with Ravindra Jadeja being the latest victim. Just a day earlier, Virat Kohli had snapped at reporters for filming his family and himself without his consent. Now, reporters in Melbourne have accused Jadeja of not answering questions in English and preferring his native language (Hindi) instead.
As per Channel 7, Ravindra Jadeja allegedly refused to answer the questions of the reporters in English. The all-rounder held a small press conference on Saturday after India’s training session at the MCG. The Australian media claimed that despite being invited for the PC by the team manager, Jadeja opted to answer questions only in Hindi.
The Australian media further claimed that Jadeja had stated that he was late for the team bus while he refused to answer the questions of the foreign journalists despite the latter being invited to the press conference.

It is pertinent to note that players from India and the sub-continent are more comfortable answering questions in their native tongue. The likes of Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and many other global sporting superstars aren’t comfortable with answering questions in English and prefer their native language instead. As with Virat Kohli, the Australian media is simply trying to blow up the incident.
Virat Kohli stands for his privacy vs Aussie media
The confrontation between Virat Kohli and the Australian media reportedly began when media members, initially speaking to Australian bowler Scott Boland, noticed Kohli and his family. The reporters then approached the Indian cricketer, who, visibly upset, confronted a Channel 9 reporter. Kohli, expressing his frustration, stated, “With my kids, I need some privacy; you can’t film without asking me.” He then walked away but turned back to continue voicing his concerns to particular media persons. “If I’m alone, it’s OK. Did you ask?,” said Kohli while confronting to the media.
