‘Tenía un plan’: Travis Head explica lo fácil que fue jugar contra India en la prueba IND vs AUS

Travis Head continuó con sus golpes consecutivos en el actual Trofeo Border Gavaskar

India’s nemesis Travis Head once again haunted India with yet another brilliant century in the IND vs AUS 3rd Test on Gabba. The southpaw went on to unleash his rampage on India as he raced to 150 before ultimately being dismissed by Jasprit Bumrah. After stumps on Day 2 he went on to explain that he has a blueprint against India and that has helped him perform well against Rohit Sharma and Co.

Travis Head overcame the Gabba Blues as he had previously registered 3 consecutive golden ducks at Gabba. But things were different against India. With the ball becoming old, Head looked in a class of his own as he ran riot against the visitors in the Border Gavaskar Trophy.

Travis Head feels special after hitting ton against India

I have played enough against India, I’ve had a blueprint, a bit nervous to start against spin, I was happy with the way I started against him today (on Jadeja). The new ball will do something throughout the game, can’t see too far ahead of the game, hopefully the weather plays up nicely, but the new ball will be crucial. The top-6 (batting) is setting up nicely, hopeful of doing well in Sri Lanka and getting into the WTC final. Very pleased for Smudge, he has had a lot against him and it’s nice to see him get back to his best form,” Travis Head said.

Travis Head revealed that he was a bit nervous to play spin. He however praises Jasprit Bumrah for his brilliant bowling against the Aussies. Coming to the game, he claimed that the new ball would surely do something in the game. In fact, Bumrah managed to scalp Head after India got the second new ball.

“Pretty special to do this after that ton at the Adelaide Oval. It’s all about being as positive as I can, I thought that I had to spend some time in the middle, credit to the top-3 guys for having stuck out against the new ball, it made my task easier and I could play my shots, I felt pretty positive against the new ball, but it was fun to be aggressive. I like to play long innings, I would want to bat for a long time,” Head concluded.
