Who is Sufiyan Muqeem?
Sufiyan Muqeem is 25 years old. He is a left-arm wrist spinner who was born in Peshawar on November 15, 1999. The spinner has played seven T20I matches and taken 14 wickets. He has only played in the T20I format for Pakistan, making his debut against Hong Kong in Hangzhou on October 3, 2023.
Pakistan’s second best spell in T20I
Sufiyan Muqeem delivered an exceptional performance for the Green Shirts, recording impressive bowling figures of 5/3 in 2.4 overs. This stands as the second-best bowling performance by a Pakistan bowler in men’s T20Is, surpassed only by Umar Gul’s 5/6.
In the series against Zimbabwe, Muqeem has taken eight wickets, including three in the first T20I. He has been the top wicket-taker in both matches.
