A victory at the Syed Modi International would mark her first BWF title in two years. Being the top seed in the tournament, she should win this one.

Dhruv and Tanisha into semifinals

In the doubles quarterfinals, India’s Dhruv Kapila and Tanisha Crasto delivered an impressive performance against Malaysia’s Loo Bing Kun and Ho Lo Ee. The Indian duo won the match in straight sets, taking the first game 21-16 and sealing the victory with a dominant 21-13 score in the second game. The fifth-seeded duo of Dhruv and Tanisha will face China’s fourth-seeded pair of Zhou Zhi Hong and Yang Jia Yi in the semifinals.
