WTC Points Table: Team India completed a sensational win in the IND vs. AUS 1st Test. As a result, they have also now reclaimed the top spot in the ongoing World Test Championship cycle. India’s point percentage (PCT) moved back up into the 60s, to 61.11. On the other hand, Australia’s numbers dipped from 62.5 to 57.69, marginally ahead of third-placed Sri Lanka (58.33).

It must be mentioned that team India cannot afford another loss in their remaining four games if they want to play the WTC final without relying on any other team. IND vs AUS 2nd Test

India and Australia will next lock horns in the Day-Night pink-ball Test at the Adelaide Oval from December 6-10. The visiting side will be boosted by the return of their skipper Rohit Sharma as team India will look to make it two wins in a row in Adelaide.
