Ayer, Mallika anunció por error una oferta más alta de 25 lakhs por Jos Buttler, quien se deshizo de Gujarat Titans y Lucknow Super Giants.
Mallika Sagar, the auctioneer at the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 mega auction, has come under fire for her big mistake towards the fag end of the event. With all the franchises looking to buy the remaining players in the acceleration stage and end things on a high, Mallika made a grave error that might cost the Delhi Capitals (DC).
Uttar Pradesh’s Swastik Chikara’s name came up at the IPL 2025 auction. The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) seemed to be the only side that showed any interest, and within seconds, the 19-year-old was sold to them. As they shook hands for bagging Swastik for Rs 30 lakh, the DC protested that they bid for the youngster as well.
Mallika, in a hurry to end the auction, completely missed the Kiran Grandhi; DC’s owner had raised the paddle. Delhi were clearly unhappy that they weren’t paid attention, while RCB were uncertain whether they had bagged Swastik at Rs 30 lakh themselves.
