Yashaswi Jaiswal ha recibido grandes elogios de los expertos después de fallar en la primera entrada de IND y AUS de la prueba de Perth.
India Cricket Team’s young opener Yashasvi Jaiswal had his first real test in Test cricket against Australia. Heading into the Border Gavaskar Trophy, hopes were high for the young southpaw to continue to perform as per his rich vein of form. But he faltered in the first innings of the IND vs AUS 1st Test in Perth.
Yashasvi Jaiswal fumbled in the first innings. He departed after an 8-ball duck, dispatched with relative ease by Mitchell Starc. But come the second innings, he looked well poised to fight back. Showcasing the positive intent, Jaiswal looked confident from the very beginning of the innings. Now, the batter has scored a half-century in the Test, which is a positive sign.
He went on to score runs at a rapid rate, heading into the tea break with a score of 42 runs. He went on to punish the Aussies with 5 glorious boundaries to set the pace for the India Cricket Team. Jaiswal was complemented by KL Rahul who looked in defiant touch. KL Rahul headed into the break with a 34-run knock, slamming 3 fours in the process.
Jaiswal earns praises from Legends
Yashasvi Jaiswal‘s knock with a highly positive intent was lauded by the pundits. Both Sunil Gavaskar and Mathew Hayden heaped praises on the youngster for his brilliant ongoing knock.
“Jaiswal was batting with intent, like a Matthew Hayden, “ said Sunil Gavaskar during the Tea Break
“Technically he was very different. Last innings he was defensive, in this inning his mindset met his talent. He has been in control, hitting the contact points. He has been making excellent cricketing decisions given the conditions,” said Mathew Hayden.
